Panchgani Positive
A 15 min weekly video magazine partially anchored by school children that will endeavor to highlight the positive social efforts of people in and around Panchgani. The magazine will comprise three sections though sometimes these demarcations could be blurred or inter-related: Exploration of the present day realities – interview based and anchored by school children. Nostalgia – historical glimpses and stories of socio-cultural relevance.
Wonder of Nature – Documentation of the flora and fauna of this bio-diversity hot spot. The thrust of this section will not so much be to give “gyan” but rather to raise curiosity and inspire love and care for the environment. The basic motive of the magazine is to create an interactive platform where children are involved in a process which is both fun and educative. At the same time, the end product of their efforts inspires goodwill and positive action.
