India and its people can perhaps best be understood through the lens of its great spiritual tradition. This animates all aspects of Indian life and the lived culture of its people. River Goddess is a set of two films that explore  India’s riverine culture and how it frames everyday living. These films were commissioned by the Tropen Museum, Amsterdam for their  year-long exhibition on Hinduism. Festival Of Ganesh captures the tradition and spirit of the annual Ganesh festival in western Maharashtra and highlights how seamlessly religion and age old traditions have blended with modernity and technology.
