Films for children with children

We believe that film making is a powerful learning tool for children and can be used as a means of exploration and self expression.

Our work with children has won acclaim. Birds Through My Window, Dir. Rudransh, Age 13, won the Golden Tree Award at the Vatavaran film festival in New Delhi in 2003 for the best child produced film in India.

In Believe The Hype we examined the effect of advertising on the food habits of children. This film has been shown by an NGO to several children in India and abroad to sensitize them to this important issue. Yet Another Gulliver’s Travels (Dir. Devansh, Age 11) on the other hand, was a short film that retold the classic tale using models of GI Joes peppered with an eleven year old’s sense of fantasy!
